I don’t need a man, I’ve got menulog

So menulog has to save me on the reg but our relationship went nek level over the weekend at the night noodle markets in Melbourne! The team have revolutionised market dining with their on menu log on the hill. You get to sit back, relax on your inflatables and picnic blanket whilst the super friendly team takes your order and brings your food over!

Check out it guys.. it’s game changing lol

Forget diamonds, Emma and Roe is my friend this season.

So I did it. I took the plunge and moved out of home earlier this year. With my west facing views and 10 minute commute into the cbd came a mortgage that meant that my shopping sprees were a thing of the past.. my days of new week, new dress were over!

Thegood news is that you can always revamp an outfit with the right accessories, throw on a different belt. A statement necklace and a new bracelet and  just like that you’ve got a new ensemble!

Ive fallen in love with Emma and Roe so I’ve picked up a few staple pieces to add to my wardrobe.

The website makes it so easy to find the perfect little sumfin sumfin!

Fergie – here’s what I’m gonna do with all that junk

It’s not easy being vertically challenged.. your shorts are my pants, your t-shirts double as as my dresses so on and so forth.. it’s tough. What’s tougher is finding the right length to make my body look taller whilst giving me the best possible opportunity to how do you say, keep that junk inside your trunk contained. Alas my friends, marks and spencer heard my cries and perfected the bodycon for spring.

I’m so in love with these dresses which are not only work appropriate but they can be dressed up with the right accessories for occasion wear.

Sometimes I wear shorts for pants.

Okay I’m exaggerating but I got your attention. I don’t really wear shorts as pants. I wear shorts as shorts. And I wear pants as pants. From time to time I’ve been known to shrink my pants. In which case I’ve pretended their shorts but I digress. Stay on topic Jess. Right, pants. So how does one find the perfect pair!? Short girl problems #1 – #89 why are jeans modelled on Giangantor? I could potentially fit both legs into the one size. It literally drives be bonkers. Especially when you’re only 75% grown like I am. So what’s the formula, it’s certainly not revolutionary but I’ve recently found a few gems online through http://www.thezebraeffect.com.au The label is refuge denim and I’ve picked up the oil riggers as well as the black onyx. Both are stretch and fit perfectly to my shape. It seems to work wonders with tucking and shaping.. Thank me later ladies!!

More me, less tacos, happier days.

I don’t know about all of you, but I always find myself reflecting deeply at the beginning of each year. A new chapter begins and I take the time out to set goals and plan for what’s ahead! I’ve just accepted a role at a new organisation starting next Monday, I’m about to move into my first home (hooray for adulthood) and I’m trying to get into a strong fitness regime so I don’t have to wear stretchy pants as often, plus I literally have no idea what I’m going  to do with all that junk, all that junk inside my trunk.

When I started my first corporate job, I attended training on communication and was taught the importance of presentation. Apparently, according to some guru somewhere, people form an opinion of you in literally seconds. Our brain does like real world tinder swipes just like that. So as I prepare myself for a new role, new team and new challenges I’ve taken the opportunity (*not like I needed a reason to shop) to refresh ze wardrobe!

I’ve never subscribed to the ol, woman-suit, I’ve always opted to mix and match my skirts and blazers. I love bold colours and patterns because life’s to short to wear grey. I’ve picked up some gorgeous little things which I can’t wait to share.. Since I love alls of you, it would be rude not to give ya’ll a sneak peak of my 2016 wardrobe..

I can see my arms when I’m with you!

It must be my obsession with super heroes that had me hunting for the perfect cape. It must be right? I’m not one to carry on about blazers, despite my love for carrying on about unnecessary things but this has to be my all time favourite. Like of all time. I’m even going to say it. This cape is everything. The thing I love most is that you can throw it on with any outfit and bam, you’ve just stepped up your arm game! I picked this up in store at Zara and it comes in both black and white, brb.. I might need to go pick up the whitey… Xx image
